Thank You, FBBKL!

Thanks for Playing!

Thank you for playing with us during the 2026 MLB season! We look forward to hopefully playing with you again next year.

With a possible MLB lockout ahead, we recently updated our league rules to explain how FBBKL will handle a lockout, strike, or other disruption to the MLB season. You can read the details in our updated league rules.

Have an idea for a rule change for next season? Email the commissioners at christopherolivieri@gmail.com, jbisceglie@hotmail.com, and stephen.a.lipp@gmail.com. Over the offseason, we’ll review suggestions and decide whether any rules need to change for the next season.

OFFSEASON-TRADE REFRESHER

  • During the offseason trading period, any player on your team’s roster at the end of last year can be traded, except for 0-year players and Lifetime Keepers acquired via trade during last season. You can find your team’s roster on Yahoo! and in our Roster document.

Reminder (still in effect): These offseason restrictions apply every season during the offseason trading period (they are not a one-year rule).

  • If draft picks are exchanged, an equal number of draft picks must be moved in each trade. You can see which draft picks all teams have on Yahoo!, here.

  • Make sure to check the contract status of the players involved in a trade. You can find each player’s contract status in our Roster Document. “1” indicates that the player can only be kept ONE more time, a “2” indicates a player can be kept TWO more times, etc.; a “0” indicates that player must be tagged as a Lifetime Keeper or they cannot be kept.

  • Offseason Trading Restrictions:

    • ❌ You may NOT trade (offseason only):
      • Any 0-year players (players with 0 years remaining on their contracts).
      • Any Lifetime Keeper acquired from another team during the previous regular season (treated as 0-year for offseason trades).
    • ✅ You MAY trade:
      • Your previously designated Lifetime Keeper from last season.
      • Any player on your roster with years remaining on their contract.

You may also designate any eligible player on your roster as your new Lifetime Keeper at keeper-declaration time. Note: per the rules, a player must have 0 contract years remaining in order to be Lifetime Tagged.

These restrictions apply only during the offseason trading period. In-season trading rules remain unchanged.

  • When all participating teams involved agree on a trade, an email should be sent to the commissioner and co-commissioners (christopherolivieri@gmail.com, jbisceglie@hotmail.com and stephen.a.lipp@gmail.com), as well as the manager(s) of any teams involved. The manager(s) who didn’t compose the email need to reply to the email saying they agreed to the trade as listed – or they can send their own email with the trade. In short: we need to hear from everyone involved.

  • If the co-commissioners accept the trade (Most trades are accepted), it will be listed on Slack in the League Announcements channel and the players/draft picks will be updated on Yahoo! to reflect the trade.

  • Please read the League Constitution section VIII for more info about specific situations regarding trades (i.e., the rare instance when a trade isn’t accepted outright).

  • The offseason trading period and keeper submission deadline are TBD. Keepers must be submitted via email to the commissioners AND marked on Yahoo! by the deadline once announced.
